Howlin’ Alan

Genre: Country/Americana, Pop, Rock
Hometown: Nashville, TN

Howlin’ Alan is a singer/songwriter artist who doesn’t abide by musical boundaries, so he refers to his original creations as, “Country Rock Americana Pop (acronym not indicative).” Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, but calling Nashville home for over twenty years, he is student of music history. Years ago, it was the full intent of Howlin’ Alan to write and record his own music. His past is full of great material written on his own and with several co-writers, including “In the Shade of the Family Tree” recorded by an unbelievable A-list of Country Music and Grand Ole Opry artists over a decade ago for the book, “Chicken Soup for the Country Soul”. Now his dream is a reality. His first album, Back to Plan A is available at iTunes, cdBaby, and many other sites. On the album, Howlin’ Alan is fully responsible for all of the songwriting, guitars, mandolin, harmonicas, and vocals. He is currently readying songs for his second studio album and planning a Spring 2013 release.
