Joyce Jedlicka is a non-performing poet-songwriter who lives with her husband and two children in Kirtland, Ohio. A lifelong poet, she turned to songwriting a few years ago when some of her lyrics started to show up with melodies. However, not being an aspiring singer or musician, all she could do with these was to preserve the idea as a vocal demo. She is hoping to pitch her lyrics and ‘songs in progress’ to artists who will either perform them ‘as is’ with guitar or piano, or take them in hand for more complex arrangements. Writing alternately in Spanish and English (sometimes using both in the same song) she writes rancheras, soft country, Christian, and folk songs.
