Treetop Sailors is a band rooted in a refreshing and modern blend of traditional southern blues rock and melodically driven pop music. The Sailors are known best for their high energy live show, featuring a mix of powerful driving blues rock and soul, filled with expressive improvisation and refreshing grooves. Born in Boston, MA in the fall of 08’ by Guitarist Jonathan (Jelly) Ellington (Asheville, NC), Vocalist Jacob Mecham (Idaho Falls, ID), Bassist Nick Casillo (Portland, CT), and Drummer Chris (C Fade) Fadely (Atlanta, GA). The Sailors saw their first action in the studio in Raleigh, NC in January 2011 where they recorded their debut self-titled full length album, which they are proud to have recently released at treetopsailors.com.
