Show Lush's Backyard presents Claire Small with Peter Bradley Adams
The second (in what will hopefully be a series of) backyard happy hour concerts. Claire Small and her friend Peter Bradley Adams of East Mountain South will be performing on this occasion.
Claire recently moved to Austin from Nashville. This event's hostesses (aka "The Luscious Lushes") picked her up at a party, took her to brunch the next morning and became fast friends. Claire had her own stage at ACL Fest 2006, and has released a terrific album, Ledger. Upon relocating she's put together a nice lil' outfit. They've recently begun playing shows at Flipnotics and The Hole in the Wall, so The Luscious Lushes are absolutely thrilled to host this show!
Those of you who attended the Lowelies gig in April know the drill:
- ~ Come over anytime after 6 pm
- ~ Bring a lawn chair
- ~ BYOB, for now--we'll let you know if we get ourselves an adult beverage sponsor
- ~ Feel free to invite others, the more, the merrier
- ~ Kid-friendly--except for that one foul-mouthed girl. But we won't let her anywhere near a mic!
- ~ The music will start around 7 pm
- ~ They'll play a couple of sets with a break in between
- ~ The noise ordinance goes into effect at 10 pm sharp
Adjourn afterwards to the Continental Club for Alejandro Escovedo.
