Juliana Murphy hadn't picked up a guitar until the day of her 30th birthday. Within just a few years, she began writing songs and has graced the stages of legendary Austin venues including Antone's, the Cactus Cafe, and the Continental Club. Juliana also released a CD with a Nick Lowe tribute band (The Lowelies) before beginning work on her own self-produced debut EP, Being Known, which hits stores July 2010. Murphy will tour the Southeastern U.S. in support of Being Known this summer.
