After uploading their song "Snapshot" to GarageBand.com in February 2003, Stasis saw the song skyrocket through 93,000 uploads to a peak #63 ranking. That overwhelming response earned the band airplay on 95.1 WZZO (Lehigh Valley, PA), 88.9 WSQU (University of Susquehanna), and 88.3 WDCV (Dickinson College), the latter having placed Stasis in regular rotation. Most recently, Stasis was named Runner-Up in WZZO's Backyard Bands contest. Their song "Leaving for Chicago" has also received consistent 5-Star reviews on GarageBand's website, as well as airplay on WZZO. Pick up their debut EP, available on their website, and you will hear for yourself that Stasis lacks only widespread airplay and a distribution deal to achieve success-their songs will do the rest.
