B57

B57 has brought Brazilian Rock to the U.S.A. They formed in late 2005 as a musical lovechild of guitarist Luigi Rock and have grown into an award-winning musical assault: Brazilian International Press Award (2009), Talento Brazil (2009), and The Best of Boston (2012). The line-up includes vocalist Gui Mogames, the aforementioned Rock, bassist Celo, guitarist Thiago, and Tako on drums. Stylistically, B57 is a bullet in your face—driving riffs, blasting drums, and tight harmonies that pull it altogether, not completely dissimilar from the brash tactic's of Puerto Rico's renowned rock gods, Puya, but with a decidedly Brazilian flair.

Baby Got Bacteria

Baby Got Bacteria were formed on the roof of the Caucus Club during Twitchell’s wedding reception. Sal M and Primary V were kicking back some horse doovers and decided that the time was ripe for building the perfect musical weapon of mass kickassness. They quickly enlisted the drummer and started woodshedding, After 4 weeks and 13 songs they brought Suzannadannah, Katwood and Evilkinz in to round out the sextet. Their debut gig was on August 1st, 2008 at the historic Hole in the Wall, and they have since delighted crowds at Lovejoys, Creekside and the Hole with their infectious grooves and blatant manners. They have played with Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re (from Japan), the West Coast Pinups, Peel, Blackholicus, and the Brass Ovaries Pole Dancing group, and have just finished their first demo recordings with Peter Stopschinski of Brown Whornet/Golden Hornet fame.

Bastards of Melody

Bastards of Melody have been proudly carrying the power pop torch since forming in 1998. The New York City band has adhered to a simple formula: impossibly catchy songs with great melodies and interesting arrangements. Comparisons to classic power pop bands such as Big Star, Cheap Trick or the Raspberries seem apt. Add to that the modern punch of bands such as Superdrag, The Figgs, and Sloan.

The Beaumonts

It wasn't too long ago that four of Lubbock's most loved veteran musicians decided the state of Texas country music was dismal at best, and horrifying at its worst. Somehow, over the last twenty years, it became acceptable for a group of frat-boys to show up in thrift-store AC/DC shirts, play half-ass Lynyrd Skynyrd tunes about drinking Lone Star and smoking weed, and call that "country." Well, good friends, THE BEAUMONTS didn't think that was "all that damn country" and decided to do something about it. What resulted was a juggernaut of essence, the trooest of troo cvntry, something akin to the creation of the universe, but with Telecasters. Behold, good friends, and delight in the majesty of THE BEAUMONTS!

Beyond Doubt

Beyond Doubt is a straight-ahead, no nonsense rock band out of Louisville, Kentucky. The fivesome made national noise for themselves after being voted "Fan Favorite" at the NAMM Schooljam competition at Disneyland, in Anaheim, California. But they are far from merely a teen rock band. Drawing inspiration from classic rockers including KISS, Joan Jett, and Guns N' Roses, as well as current acts like Paramore, Adele, and The White Stripes, Beyond Doubt rock the old fashioned way...but with a modern flare. The band is fronted by vocalist Alison Nelson, whose screams harken back to the aforementioned Jett. Guitarist Skyler Jones brings much of the dirty GnR sound to the mix, while fellow guitarist Dustin Goodwin leans toward a more 90s Alt Rock influence. Matt Purlee (bass) brings both thunder and levity, while drummer Austin Miller's beats are topped only by his flowing blonde locks of rock 'n' roll greatness. The group performs regularly in and around their home states of Kentucky and Indiana, with occasional out-of-state swings. While they wield a full set of cover songs, Beyond Doubt is without a doubt an original rock band whose songs stand strong alongside tried-and-true greatest hits. in 2013, Beyond Doubt released their self-titled EP, available now on iTunes and CDBaby.

Big Paul E

Big Paul E has an intensely personal motivation behind his music. He has served in the military, but also gotten into gang-related life so deep that it led to incarceration. While in jail, Big Paul E began to refocus his life on music, God, and living respectably to set a positive example for others. Today, Paul owns PER-minute Solution Music Productions and is a recording engineer at Reynolds Recording & Premier Productions. But his true love is creating music. With his songs "I.O.U." and "The Dirty South" having reached Reverbnation's Top 10, Big Paul E's passion appears to be paying off. Straight out the belly of the beast, and that's the Georgia Pen, fires of my life off the streets now i'm back again. Stylistically, Big Paul E lives and breathes the Dirty South (he was born in San Antonio and now calls Atlanta home). But at the same time, spending his childhood spent in Flint, Michigan broadened his musical background. Among his biggest influences, Paul lists KRS One, Rakin, Big Daddy Kane, Ice Cube, Tupac, and The Westside Connection.

Bonnie Bishop

Bonnie Bishop is a singer and a Texan…and, yes, all that insinuates. Brassy, original, soulful, with a whole lot of attitude, her music and her personality are one in the same. But your stereotypical chick singer she is NOT. She sings with the confidence of a woman who understands that the power of her voice lies in her ability to make the audience want more, not want less. She wails effortlessly and with style, free from the shrillness of a woman who is straining to find her notes in the stratosphere, and then just as easily, she swoops down into the depths of her range with a softness that is rich and full of emotion.

Formed in 2011 in Brooklyn, Ronnie Shingelo, singer and creator of Black Bird White Sky teamed up with producer/engineer/mixer Nic Hard (The Bravery, Aberdeen City, Church, The Ropes) and co-producer/engineer Jonathan Goldstein. Blowfly

During the 1960s and 1970s Reid wrote and produced artists including Betty Wright, Sam & Dave, Gwen McCrae, Jimmy "Bo" Horne, Bobby Byrd, and KC & the Sunshine Band. He also recorded many of his own songs during this period, including "Nobody But You Babe".

Reid wrote sexually explicit versions of hit songs for fun but only performed them for his friends at parties or in the studio. In 1971, he along with a band of studio musicians recorded a whole album of dirty songs under the name Blowfly. The album, The Weird World of Blowfly, features Reid dressed as a low-rent supervillain on its cover. He created this alter ego to protect his career as a songwriter, and continued to perform in bizarre costumes as his Blowfly character and continued to record sexually explicit albums throughout the 1970s/80s. The albums were widely popular as "party records". The explicit version of his song "Rapp Dirty" (a.k.a. "Blowfly's Rapp [sic]") helped the album Blowfly's Party reach #26 on Billboard magazine's Black Albums chart and #82 on the Billboard Top 200 in 1980.

Blowfly's profane style earned Reid legal trouble. He was sued by songwriter Stanley Adams, who was ASCAP president at the time, for spoofing "What a Diff'rence a Day Makes" as "What a Difference a Lay Makes". Reid's own compositions have been sampled by dozens of hip hop, R&B, and electronic artists (such as Beyonce, Wu Tang Clan, DJ Quik, DMX, Method Man & Redman, Main Source, DJ Shadow, Eazy-E, RJD2, Jurassic 5, Big Daddy Kane, Mary J. Blige, Brand Nubian, and the Avalanches) but Reid has received almost no money from sampling due to signing away most of his royalties.

Bmore Original

Originally gaining notoriety as "DJ Excel," Bmore Original rebranded himself in 2014 after having operated a label under that name since 2004. This move separated him from a glut of other DJs using "Excel" but also more accurately represented what Bmore Original was all about: both a proud DJ from the 410 of Baltimore, and a true original among his peers. He's a member of the Bum Squad DJz Worldwide Family and has been featured in numerous magazines, blogs, fanzines, and more.

As Bmore Original, his first release was the 8th in Baltimore Club Music's history, helping define the Baltimore Club OG sound. Bmore Original has grown into a brand that specializes in Baltimore Club Music and doubles as a digital distribution group and clothing line (you may have seen "Bmore Original" shirts in a handful of videos on MTV). As if that wasn't enough, Bmore Original Radio gained worldwide fame as a platform for presenting Baltimore-area DJs on its custom mix shows.

Bmore Original, the man, has been at his game since his 1995 release, This DJ/Kaptain Jack. His track "That's What A Pimp Does" blew up, featured on Howard Stern, Huffington Post, MSNBC, and others, with its notorious flipping of Pastor Manning's Obama rant into a song that went viral. The track earned "Song of the Year" honors in the Baltimore City Paper. Additionally, Bmore Original's fame grew with his remixes of Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow," Ludacris' "How Low," and Usher's "DJ Got Us."

He emerged on the circuit under the pseudonym Da Franchise, and upon moving to Detroit in 2004 signing a three-year deal with Raw Cut Records. While earning a reputation for rallying the underground masses with his signature rhyme craft his debut street single “Buck Up”, was an instant club hit.
