Thomas Jackson hails from the mythic fertile soil of Northeast Mississippi. Raised with the state's rich cultural heritage deep in his DNA and fed a steady diet of comic books, Country music and clamorous British rock, Jackson graduated from high school and headed south to Hattiesburg. While pursuing a degree in Graphic Design at the University of Southern Mississippi, Jackson discovered pre-war blues and set off to play in every bar, coffeehouse or party that would have him. Jackson earned his stripes performing through the Southeast as well as New York City and Berlin. All these years of travel and time writing songs on roadsides have culminated in his first official album. Bridgeburner is not just a collection of songs, it is a book of snapshots of Jackson's life (much like its cover.) What lies before you is the product of these years of experience once scrawled into notebooks and captured on makeshift recordings now brought to life by producer Alan Sanderson and a handful of the best musicians in the Southeast. Recorded at the legendary Studio In The Country in Bogalusa, LA, Bridgeburner introduces you to Jackson and a panoply of short stories from his lifetime. Hopefully when you listen, you too will get to know how the young boy on the cover has grown into the artist he is today.

J_Dub & The_Tease are a Psychedelic Rock quintet from Austin, TX. Fronted by charismatic singer/songwriter JDub, the Tease are known for their songs of Love and Social Consciousness. Lead guitarist Jeffandy St. Hubert's poetic lines and keyboardist Mickey Satterwhite's atmospheres dance elegantly around J_Dub's vocal. This new genre of music is known as Psychedelic Soul.
Joyce Jedlicka is a non-performing poet-songwriter who lives with her husband and two children in Kirtland, Ohio. A lifelong poet, she turned to songwriting a few years ago when some of her lyrics started to show up with melodies. However, not being an aspiring singer or musician, all she could do with these was to preserve the idea as a vocal demo. She is hoping to pitch her lyrics and ‘songs in progress’ to artists who will either perform them ‘as is’ with guitar or piano, or take them in hand for more complex arrangements. Writing alternately in Spanish and English (sometimes using both in the same song) she writes rancheras, soft country, Christian, and folk songs. You can reach Joyce via email at joyce9735 at visn.net.

Phil Johnson (NaturalPhil) was only 11 years old when he played his first professional gig. Since then his versatile and driving drumming style has garnered endorsements and seen Phil share stages with renowned performers around the world.
Phil has toured with platinum recording artist Don Omar and serves as the Music Director and drummer for the B.B. King All-Star Band. His endorsements currently include Pro-Mark sticks and Amedia cymbals. And in 2012, Modern Drummer published a featured article about Phil and his remarkable video collaboration with Michael McPherson (DJ M-Squared) on Sam Spence's "The Equalizer."
Cows moo, dogs bark, birds fly, I play drums.
More than just a performer, NaturalPhil created and managed his own drum school and has produced music for Disney among others. He has also judged The National Drum Competition, hosted by Guitar Center.
NaturalPhil rings in the 2013 New Year running full throttle: he debuts his new cover band NP Article, already the primary act at Bar Louie. He is also busy preparing for the Winter NAAM conference, where he'll represent Amedia cymbals. Phil's latest EP is also nearing completion, scheduled for an early 2013 release.
Accomplishing all he has is not a completely solo project. Phil takes his inspiration from his mother, who had also been an accomplished drummer and the first female drum major at Elizabeth State University. He is also quick to credit his early drum teachers, who laid Phil's percussion foundation from 7th to 12th grade. Phil also thanks and appreciates his high school band director, who graciously allowed Phil to switch from brass to percussion. Professionally, Phil's influences include Bernard Purdie, Dennis Chambers, Dave Weckl, and Brian Blade.
Marshell Jones preaches daily from her gospel of self-love. A soul-caressing melange of funky jazz vocals, Marshell's original compositions entice the ear with their lyrical wit and gutsy melodies. A master of the art of improvisation, she creatively synthesizes music and poetry to weave stories of life, love and other unsolved mysteries. Whether working it out duo-style with acoustic bass or funking it up South Asian-style with a sitar in the full-band mix, Marshell's music is about risk-taking and envelope-pushing.

But at the heart of it is, well, heart. Zac & Marci Morris perform regionally as a traditional Country duo. Brittany & Wiley Koepp have performed together for years in Chasca and several other bands. And Marci and Brittany formed the all-girl cover band Hey, Gurl. And longtime friend Ryan Vasquez of Danger Roosevelt notoriety rounds out the band on guitar. Bringing this fivesome to the stage is a helluva lotta fun…come see for yourselves.
"The fleeting hooks and surging release of June Fool’s latest incarnation – their darkest and most complex – conjures up traces of Rainer Maria, Portishead with an edge, or a PJ Harvey resigned to melody rather than anger. At moments a ghostly presence, at others bluesy and symphonic, with a guitar alternately soaring and irresistibly minimalist and bleak. Just when it feels like a collapse into the feels-so-bad-it’s-good pain of emo, it turns grittier -- streets of Detroit, from the gut . . . Like the best of modern indie/pop outfits, the power trio feels expansive and open, all the while keeping secrets."
