Beyond Doubt is a straight-ahead, no nonsense rock band out of Louisville, Kentucky. The fivesome made national noise for themselves after being voted "Fan Favorite" at the NAMM Schooljam competition at Disneyland, in Anaheim, California. But they are far from merely a teen rock band. Drawing inspiration from classic rockers including KISS, Joan Jett, and Guns N' Roses, as well as current acts like Paramore, Adele, and The White Stripes, Beyond Doubt rock the old fashioned way...but with a modern flare. The band is fronted by vocalist Alison Nelson, whose screams harken back to the aforementioned Jett. Guitarist Skyler Jones brings much of the dirty GnR sound to the mix, while fellow guitarist Dustin Goodwin leans toward a more 90s Alt Rock influence. Matt Purlee (bass) brings both thunder and levity, while drummer Austin Miller's beats are topped only by his flowing blonde locks of rock 'n' roll greatness. The group performs regularly in and around their home states of Kentucky and Indiana, with occasional out-of-state swings. While they wield a full set of cover songs, Beyond Doubt is without a doubt an original rock band whose songs stand strong alongside tried-and-true greatest hits. in 2013, Beyond Doubt released their self-titled EP, available now on iTunes and CDBaby.
