Chris Bitten

Genre: Jazz
Hometown: Atlanta, GA

Chris Bitten is a drummer and percussionist whose stellar talent and humble nature have taken him from his childhood home of Birmingham, Alabama to the urban and jazz rich music scene of Atlanta, Georgia. Along the way, Chris has developed as a multi-instrumentalist and made a name for himself as a pro drummer worthy of sharing stages with musical legends.

Upon arriving in Atlanta, Chris started touring with The Drifters, The Tams, and blues legend Clarence Carter. He also began creating his own music, releasing The Chris Bitten Project, an album he wrote, produced, and performed most of the instrumentation. As a performing group, The Chris Bitten Project has played its combination of funk, R&B, blues, Afro jive, and smooth jazz in front of audiences at The Masters Gold Tournament and various music festivals and corporate special events.

Venturing beyond the musical realm, Chris made his film debut appearing (as a drummer) in the James Woods / Melanie Griffith movie Another Day In Paradise (incidentally, the last movie ever given "two thumbs up" by Siskel and Ebert). But music was and always will be Chris Bitten's love. Hear Chris' music for yourself: The Chris Bitten Project is available now on Amazon, iTunes, and CDBaby.
