Danielle Hani is an composer, orchestrator, pianist based in Los Angeles. Her work spans film, television, video games, and theater, blending Middle Eastern influences with contemporary cinematic sound.
Danielle began her piano journey at the age of eight, receiving classical training. She pursued a music major in high school and performed a final classical recital at graduation. Later, she discovered a passion for jazz and studied jazz piano with some of Israel’s most renowned pianists. Danielle then earned a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where she studied under the exceptional pianists Alan Mallet and Maxim Lubarsky.
Danielle recently contributed as a pianist to the Hulu series We Were the Lucky Ones, working alongside composer Jon Ehrlich. She has also collaborated with composer Sharon Farber for the TV series Red Skies. Her orchestration work has been performed by the Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, and her compositions have appeared in projects such as the video game Indiepocalypse.
Beyond her screen work, Danielle has performed with various artists and served as music director for theater productions. She was also the music director, orchestrator, and pianist for "The Broadway Band".
Currently, Danielle is working at Sparks and Shadows, working for the composer Bear McCreary.
Originally from Israel, Danielle began her studies at Rimon School of Music before receiving a World Tour Scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, where she earned a degree in Film Scoring. Her work reflects a deep curiosity for cross-cultural storytelling and a passion for merging traditional sounds with modern technology.
