Ian "Emaculant" Carr was born of an opera composer and electrical engineer, but faced life-changing obstacles following a family tragedy. Emaculant turned the most dire of situations into inspiration, fueling his life's progression, which includes playing basketball at Neumann College, an off-and-on amateur boxing career, and traveling to Spain to further pursue both sports.

Today, Emaculant has brought his anger, sadness, success, and joy altogether in the studio. His collaborations with Absoloot have yielded some impressive efforts, focusing not on the commercialism of Hip-Hop, but rather telling honest life stories that reach out to each listener.

Throughout his journey, Emaculant's manager (and wife) Emny Castillo Carr provided undying support. Emny and Emaculant worked together to create their own label, M.I.C.CLUB, which will proudly announce the release of his upcoming EP E=MC Squared in November 2013.
