Zee Avi, Izyan Alirahman *PBK, started her music career in 2009, when she was signed to Brushfire Records (co-owned by Jack Johnson), making her the first Malaysian to reach many international marks in the US and Asia.

She has performed at esteemed festivals (SXSW, Bonnaroo, LIFE IS GOOD Festival, San Francisco Outside Lands, Lilith Fair, Byron Bay Blues Festival, Soundrenaline, Bali etc) and in many iconic venues and stage (SOLD OUT HEADLINE SHOWS: The Troubadour, Mercury Lounge; OTHER NOTABLE STAGES: The Fonda Theatre, Moroccan Lounge, Le Poisson Rouge, Highline Ballroom, First Avenue, etc) and stages (Opening for Jack Johnson: The Greek Theatre, Hollywood Bowl etc), performing tours in the US, Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia) and 6 different cities in China, and much recently, Bangalore, India.She has also performed on both notable NPR online platforms, Tiny Desk Concert and Morning Becomes Eclectic.
