Divine Martyr are a Power Symphonic Metal group based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Inspired by the likes of Nightwish, Symphony X and Dream Theater, the quartet are thrilled to announce the addition of new lead vocalist Kassandra Bella Chandler. Kassey's operatic vocal style will drive the group's pursuit to recapture their elevated symphonic-metal style that originally brought the group together. With dozens of orchestral parts per song, the group is writing thicker, richer, more fully orchestrated music similar to the vibe that led to the band's formation nearly 10 years ago.

Christian themes abound across the band's lyric book, touching on modern-day societal issues ranging from mental health and abuse to anger management and marginalization. With each challenging topic comes accompanying lyrical encouragement of hope and internal strength. But acoustic versions of "Kumbaya" this is not. Divine Martyr's lyrics are served up in the form of soaring operatic performances and guttural screams set against a soundtrack of aggressive pounding drums, crushing distorted guitar, gorgeous reverb-rich arpeggios, and searing solos.

Today, Divine Martyr continue to build on their decade's worth of work. Tour goals include reaching new venues, festivals, and churches from the Southeastern U.S., up the Atlantic Coast the Northeast and down through their own Midwestern home. Keep an eye out for the group in Canada, as well, as they begin to weave their tour routes through Toronto, Montreal and Canada's other musical hotspots along the border. Longtime fans will appreciate a reimagined live show--from setlists spanning new tracks to perennial crowd faves, to the visual and audio production of the entire performance itself. 

Musically, Divine Martyr is midway through the pre-production of their first full-length album!
