Montreal-born singer-songwriter Jonathan Roy has built his career around raw authenticity, powerful vocals, and emotionally direct songwriting. After beginning his musical journey while pursuing a career in major junior hockey, Roy went on to sign with Warner Music before ultimately finding his own artistic direction outside the major-label system.
His music has continued to evolve through projects including My Lullaby and Life Distortions, while his stripped-down live performances have introduced his music to audiences around the world. Roy has collaborated with producers and musicians including Brian Howes, Marc Beland, Tee, Stevie Aiello, Drew Polovick, and Heavy.
Known for songs including “Keeping Me Alive,” “Lost,” and “Waiting for a Call,” Roy continues to build on the distinctive alt-pop sound and deeply personal approach that have defined his career.
