Marco De Luca, a singer-songwriter from Atri in the province of Teramo, made his debut in the 1990s with the group Sine, with whom he performed his own music and covers of The Cure, a band that was a great inspiration to him. At the beginning of 2000, his group split up and he continued his solo career, cutting down on live performances and focusing on writing new songs.
Thus, in 2006, he released STANZE REMOTE, an experimental album with 80s new wave sounds, self-produced and created entirely by himself in his home studio. In 2008, he released the EP DUE, another self-production, created together with other musicians, which features him on vocals, guitars and computer arrangements together with a bassist, drummer and percussionist. The album tends more towards pop with a more open and catchy sound and has been broadcast on several radio stations.
In 2012, Canzoni Inedite was released, consisting of some songs created in different periods, collected in an album that sounds more singer-songwriter. In 2024, his new album LA STAGIONE DECISIVA was released, which differs from his previous works for its greater use of keyboards in all songs. The album is available on all digital stores.
