Hailing from the DMV Area (Silver Spring, MD), Mr.1300 was conceived through The Nu Threatz Ent family, who exploded onto the scene with numerous recordings dating back to 2003. Prior to assuming his Mr.1300 stage persona, Profane signed with Bizzar Records (a precursor to TNT Ent) at the age of 7 under the moniker Navy. Bizzar founder/artist/rapper Profa (aka Prophecy) mentored Mr.1300 through that period, transitioning Bizzar to TNT Ent.
Mr.1300 has come into his own since then, approaching his music with an intensity that lives up to his name, which represents treating anything sacred with irreverence or contempt. This seriousness in the face of humility comes through each Mr.1300 track. Channeling inspiration from Biggie, Tupac, DMX, T-Pain, and others, Mr.1300 dropped the Emotional Exhaustion album back in 2020. He teams up with Profa on a couple songs, as well as a collab with Fetta Corleone (aka Troy Phoenix).
Today, Mr.1300's identity is a sum of his past personas and musical upbringing through both the Bizzar and TNT Ent periods of his life. His music has forged his own unique identity, putting Silver Spring, MD on the map beyond its proximity to the capitol city.
