We were together for about 8 months until we formed the Tommy Lasorda Experience in July 2022. The name comes from me getting completely trashed once, going to vote and writing in Tommy Lasorda, former Dodgers manager and Slimfast pitchman for everything - President, VP, Senate, House, all local elections. We thought it was funny. Pancreatic Cancer was something we thought was funny too. Like, not the disease, but using it as a band name. Our manager was a bit wacky, he booked us at ridiculous places - crematoriums, yarn stores, public libraries, pool halls (I'm a tournament 9-ball player, so we were happy to do that one). Some of the others we did, some not. He even tried to book us at the Bronx House of Detention, but we said no to that. Bad memories of that place.
