Pastor Weed

Genre: Rap/Hip-Hop, Reggae
Hometown: Brooklyn, NY

Pastor Weed is back! You may know him as the rapper Cee Life, or through his record deals with Jive RCA and Profile Records. But in 2025 Pastor Weed has returned to his deeply seeded roots, combining Hip-Hop, Soca, and Reggae into a sound that's all his own. Lyrically, Pastor Weed draws upon his own widely varied experiences, having spent time as a minister, radio host, producer, and hands-in-the-dirt marijuana farmer. His lyrics are undeniably authentic, based on first hand experiences in so many facets of society.

Pastor Weed's sound pulls from the origins of Soca in 1970s Trinidad and Tobago, seamless blending in the influence of KRS One's Boogie Down Productions in 1980s Bronx. He infuses these influences with original artistry to create songs that power the dance floor and establish a mood where the noise of the outside world isn't allowed. He brings the chill, rhythm, and passion of artists like The Mighty Sparrow, infusing the intensity and energy found throughout the streets of his longtime home of Brooklyn.

The entirety of Pastor Weed's history, experience, success and obstacles have come together in 2025. "The Forgotten" is the latest single, dropping on February 28th. Follow him across his social and streaming platforms to get the latest straight from the source.
