Rice Moorehead and His Ladies feature an intense blues/rock guitarist, who plays some mean slide, backed by his Ladies, comprised of two drummers (hey, does one have a beard!?) and a saucy ginger on bass.The Hickoids are punkabilly legends, peaking once again in yet another decade. With a new album out and recently off their European tour, the Hickoids are playing their rough-edged music as tight as ever.
The Beaumonts brought their brand of Panhandle-country-meets-Hank Jr. to Central Texas and have found a new musical home. Who would have guessed that folks would gravitate toward rootsy songs about booze, women, and various less-than-legal exploits?
