All Dave. All The Time.

The 2nd Annual DaveFest is a fundraising event benefitting DaveTV.org

As most of you know, Dave Prewitt is an incredibly important and beloved fixture in the Austin music scene, documenting local bands' live performances for artistic credit only. This is our chance, as a community, to help him help us. 

These two night of stellar bands are for your enjoyment and to gather all the funds you care to donate to help Dave continue to support local bands.

With help from many volunteers since 1990, CapZeyeZ has been producing live music video for bands of all genres at no cost. Occasionally a band will pay as they support the efforts, which is hugely appreciated. In 2014 Dereck Todd of Worthless Humans said there will be a DaveFest, if you know him, you can't say no. With the help of many bands and all of the amazing family of The Boleys, DaveFest happened in January of 2015! 

We had it on one weekend at The Lost Well & The Badlands. We had hundreds come out each night, it was apparently needed. We raised a good amount of money which we used to pay series fees, continuing education for crew of DaveTV, as well as some memory cards, a laptop, stickers. 

You get the idea. So with no question, we carry on the tradition. I am humbled by the participation and support of the community, and until I am in the ground, I will continue to fly the local freak flag as high as I can.
