BMI, in conjunction with non-profit educational organizations Add Joy to Learning and Better Youth, sponsored the "Voices of Tomorrow" industry executive panel and music showcase featuring performances by area high school students. This unique educational event took place on Thursday, June 6 at BMI's New York office.

Hosted by talk show hostess Champagne, the informative educational panel featured music industry veterans including producer Chay Alexander, BMI songwriter Julie Gold ("From A Distance"), EMI Music Publishing's Brian Jackson, attorney Bill Krasilovsky (co-author of This Business of Music), 105.1 FM's Julius Dyson, attorney Joe Serling, A&R consultant Wiley Koepp and artist manager Richard Willis, Jr. Performances showcased students from the Add Joy to Learning program who attend various high schools in the area and included Kamely Alexander, Raheem Clarke, Yacod Gordon (a.k.a. Jahrainjah), Jason Laudet, Tashena Moncion, Cindy Rivera and Daniel Stewart.
