A soulful and cinematic collection of songs exploring the emotions that remain long after the night ends
Belgian artist and songwriter Gregory Delbrouck proudly announces the release of his debut EP, After the Glow, available now on all major streaming platforms.
Recorded at Trix Studio in Antwerp, Belgium, After the Glow is a deeply personal collection of songs inspired by the moments we experience during the night with someone we love—or once loved. While every night eventually comes to an end, the feelings it creates often linger long afterward. Sometimes those emotions are joyful and comforting; at other times they are nostalgic, bittersweet, or difficult to let go of.
Across the EP's songs, Delbrouck explores these lingering emotions through a rich musical palette that blends blues, soul, jazz, pop, and singer-songwriter influences. The result is a warm, cinematic listening experience that captures both the beauty and complexity of nighttime memories and human connection.
Featuring vocals by Belgian singer Tonke Dehon, After the Glow was produced by Gregory Delbrouck and recorded, mixed, and engineered by Frank Rotthier at Trix Studio. The EP was mastered by Benjamin Reggers and features performances from a talented group of collaborators on piano, horns, bass, guitar, organ, and percussion. Inspired in part by Delbrouck's admiration for The Blues Brothers, a vibrant horn section appears throughout the project, adding energy, warmth, and character to every song.
Unlike many modern releases designed to impress through volume, trends, or production techniques, After the Glow was created with a different purpose: connection. The songs prioritize storytelling, emotion, and authenticity, allowing both the music and lyrics to breathe naturally and resonate with listeners on a personal level.
"This project wasn't made to impress people," says Delbrouck. "It was made to remind them of something they felt."
As his debut release, After the Glow serves as an intimate artistic statement—one that invites listeners to revisit the memories, relationships, and emotions that continue to echo long after the lights go out.
The night is over, but the feeling stays.
