Free Concert at Tavern on the Lake Builds on Foundation’s $50,000+ Charitable Impact and $100,000+ in Local Economic Activity

The Lilly Youth & Arts Foundation today announced the Parker County Beach Party, its 2026 signature benefit concert, set for Friday, June 5, 2026 at Tavern on the Lake. Nationally celebrated act Love Canon will take the stage, with an opening performance by James Hinkle and Biscuit Miller. Admission is free and open to all ages.

Founded in 2024 by Parker County residents Joseph and Kim Lilly, the Foundation has quickly established itself as one of the region’s most impactful arts and community organizations. Its annual concert series has raised more than $50,000 for local youth and fine arts initiatives and generated over $100,000 in measurable local economic impact — while delivering world-class live music to North Texas audiences at no cost.

Previous Foundation events have featured America’s Got Talent winner Michael Grimm, W.C. Handy Award winner Biscuit Miller, and internationally acclaimed blues guitarist Chris Cain — artists who command stages well beyond the Metroplex, brought to Parker County free of charge. For many North Texas audiences, these shows represented a once-in-a-market opportunity to see that caliber of talent up close.

This year’s featured act, Love Canon, brings a wholly unique concert experience: iconic 80s and 90s pop hits reimagined as explosive, high-energy bluegrass performed on banjo, mandolin, and upright bass by some of the most technically gifted musicians working today. Their live shows have earned a devoted national following and are widely regarded as among the most purely entertaining concert experiences in any genre. For most North Texas audiences, June 5th will be their first and possibly only chance to see Love Canon perform live in the region.

The evening will open with a special performance by James Hinkle and Biscuit Miller, both veterans of previous Foundation events and established favorites among Parker County music fans.
