Todd Underwood Builds on His Musical-Trifecta Life as a Musician, Songwriter and Mastering Engineer

Singer, songwriter, producer, engineer, master(er) Todd Underwood has a new solo project, actively records as part of The Jetglows, and runs his master engineering projects through his own LoadFactor Studios

Todd Underwood is a busy man. On the heels of his new record, Outside, he's staying busy as founding member of The Jetglows but even moreso in his role as mastering engineer at LoadFactor Studios, his own studio where he's currently focusing almost exclusively on mastering projects.

The Jetglows

Many moons ago a group of high school friends formed a band that would eventually become The Jetglows. They did their thing, had their fun, then went their separate ways to build their own lives. But just 30 short years later, the quartet united over distance to put together a new round of songs under their new moniker: The Jetglows.

Studio fiend Todd Underwood, Travis McNabb (Better Than Ezra), Tim Ferguson (Jagged Rocks on the Perimeter), and singer/songwriter Gina Partin are not only back together but more prolific than ever! "Our aim is to put out one song per month with one album per year," Underwood shares. "The Jetglows is a total collaboration - anyone can bring a song idea to the table but then we all put our different perspectives in."  You can check out The Jetglows and their new releases on all major streaming services. LoadFactor Studios

Beyond the band and Underwood's solo project, he's been recording, engineering and mastering through LoadFactor Studios since way back in his early years (high school). At first he assembled some gear and even went so far as to rent out his studio for side cash in and just after high school. In the years that followed, Underwood recorded for TV (sports programming) while recording full-bands became a less frequent endeavor.

More recently Underwood explains that he has, "moved more into mixing and mastering. I track my own material but outside of that I do a lot of mixing and mastering for other clients." And currently he's taking on new mastering clients! You can reach out to Todd through loadfactorstudios.com to get your mastering work on his schedule.
