San Marcos rockers just released a new album.

7. Carousel Lounge (Austin, TX)

The most colorful venue in town.

6. J.J. Johnson

One of Austin's best and most beloved drummers.

5. Scrappy Jud Newcomb

Intensity, honesty, and sincerity personified through his songs.

4. Nina Diaz

Her solo career continues its ascent.

Rice Moorehead and His Ladies shared the stage with Eric Hisaw Band, Garner Sloan, and The Madisons, making for a solid night's entertainment.
