Track listing: Bends It Like a Guitar String

On January 10th North Carolina native Michael Raven dropped his debut solo single "Bends It Like a Guitar String." The brash Country rocker hits hard right outta the gate, strong and bold in the vein of contemporaries Jason Aldean and Eric Church. The track is a love song of sorts...or, rather, more like an anthem of admiration dedicated to beautiful women everywhere.

"It's a song about that kind of girl that's impossible to not have you mesmerized," Raven explains. And musically there's an undeniably energy that matches the lyrical passion: "She creates a reaction that's endless when she bends it like a guitar string."

Distorted electric guitars dominate the song but the Country staple mandolin sneaks through in the mix letting you know this ain't no Aerosmith song. The hook is a helluva earworm, to be honest. Looping it as I write this, I'm pretty sure I'll be singing this song all night.
