Inés Hall has a new single out entitled "Both In Bed," and it's absolutely gorgeous. The vocal yearning, the soft finger-picking on the acoustic guitar, and subtle orchestrated synth layers create a dream sequence of sorts that captures perfectly the feeling we get in that post-breakup phase after a relationship concludes. At this time Inés has over 1,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and 12K TikTok followers--significant, yet also a sign of a burgeoning music career on the verge of blowing up. "Both In Bed" could be the viral impetus that begins to make that happen.

I would hope that my music just lets people feel whatever they need to be feeling in that moment. Whether it makes them cry, smile, laugh. I hope that my music can just be something that people turn to to feel something.

"Both In Bed" was recorded at Nowhere Studies, produced and engineered by studio owner Josh Liebman (Norah Jones, Josh Groban, Strawberry Launch). As you might imagine, it's a breakup song. Hall wrote and recorded the track as a sort of therapy to navigate those difficult post-relationship emotions. In this case, "Both In Bed" was a 30-minute 'session' that seems to have served its purpose of both expressing those emotions and creating a sort of 'closure' in order to move forward.

During recording, Inés "wanted to feel that gut wrenching feeling when you are laying in bed in the pitch black just overthinking your late night thoughts" and went through two producers before Liebman was able to capture the feelings perfectly.

You hear a vulnerability in Hall's voice--slight quivers and cracks that exude emotional honesty, vulnerability and authenticity. The vocal harmonies elevate the song from that stark state to something bigger, stronger, and more confident. The song is essentially a journey through the 'missing' stage, with strains of hope and resolution toward the track's final fading moments.
