Emotional Exhaustion is the latest album from Maryland-based rapper MR.1300. The album's 11 tracks delve into the human psyche, following the theme of the title through topics including brutal honesty, friendship, isolation and spirituality.

Introducing the album, the title track is an excerpt from a sermon capturing a moment in Jesus' life when he himself was...tired. It's a human attribute, to be sure, and solidifies the humanity of the son of God.

And so the album kicks off musically with "2 Real," an autobiographical anthem of sorts, introducing the artist to new listeners. "Archery" follows, a song co-starred with IAmProfa who contributes to it and "Demolition." In "Letter 2 Tha Kids," MR.1300 spreads his own gospel, hoping that those who hear it take note and learn something. Another collab on the album is "50 Niggas," featuring Fetta Corleone aka Troy Phoenix. It's an unsurprisingly aggressive track, calling out other rappers who put out fake reps and build themselves off dis tracks toward others.

The production on Emotional Exhaustion is big! A full sound that maximizes a number of different sampling styles and lyrical methods. By the time you end with "Devil Want My Soul," MR.1300 has taken the listener on a journey. This track serves as a sort of epilogue, wrapping up everything addressed in the preceding 30 minutes.
