Four Singles from Levontin

by Eyal Erlich

Track listing: All In All, Jenny, Already In, I Wish I Knew

Eyal Erlich has been a busy man in 2025! The Tel Aviv-based Indie / Brit-Pop singer-songwriter has posted a slew of singles recorded live at the city's popular "grunge basement," Levontin (a great local live music venue if you're ever in the area). Erlich's stark, raw set is punctuated by his unsuspectingly impressive vocal range and leisurely demeanor while belting out an impressive evening of music.

"Already In" stands out for me, reminiscent of the early 90s vibe Jeff Buckley created at his CBGBs 313 Gallery sets. Moody, emotional songs yearning to convey their message. His band is stellar throughout the set, executing their jobs to with precision. Careful to not overplay while performing with an energy that matches the emotive ebbs and flows that Erlich's songs convey.

A&R Factory praised "Jenny" in the set, praising that the track "mesmerises through soaring vibrato and suspended guitar melodies that seem to dance mid-air." While "All In All" takes a darker, blues-influenced turn featuring some blistering lead guitar work. An emotional highpoint of the set comes in the form of "I Wish I Knew," with its more slightly odd chord progressions and arpeggiating really putting on display the ensemble's musicianship.

I'm not familiar with Levontin's night-in night-out booking but you can watch Erlich's videos from that night and imagine that if you happened upon that room, that evening, you'd wonder who the hell was onstage and when their songs would blow up internationally. Check out and follow Eyal Erlick @eyalerlichmusic on Instagram and Spotify for the release of these songs on his forthcoming album.
