Track listing: Halloween Blues

Not since "Monster Mash" or "A Nightmare on My Street" has there been an energetic theme for the spooky season like Bloodline_Omni's "Halloween Blues." Not remotely Blues stylistically, "Halloween Blues" captures our collective mood when life changes from not Halloween season to it's definitely Halloween season!

The exact date this happens varies year after year. Retail outlets see-in Halloween before fireworks' smoke fully clears on July 5th. But there's certainly a taboo surrounding when it's still too early to decorate one's front yard with witches, ghosts, and tombstones.

Regardless of the exact time and place, though, many of us hit that switch when it's full-on Halloween mode. I mean, today is September 16 and my home's interior has been adorned with skulls, vampires, and candelabras for a few weeks already.

Musically speaking, "Halloween Blues" features a powerful, impressive soulful vocal performance. The synth-brass section and dancebeat make the song perfect to drop in a DJ set any time between now and October 31st.
