Release The Beast is a dystopian horrorshow of an album by an evil clown persona known as Arizona Coast. Release is slated for September 12, 2025. Influenced by Hollywood's library of horror films, Release the Beast is a sort of biopic of a record. It delves into "the making of" our mysterious artist, giving off vibes of Craig Wedren & Anna Waronker's Yellowjackets theme and background music.

"Growing Pains" kicks off the story, a clear prelude to the main storyline. It leads into "The Day the Party End," with an atonal soundscape and haunting multi-tracked vocals. Rhythmically, the album picks up the pace but by no means elevates the mood. "Doll" exists as the eye-less, burned baby doll in a dark corner of a haunted house.

Then things get very interesting. "They Lost When They Let Me Out of the Theater" gets to the meat of the tale--with our protagonist/villain being created within the walls of a notorious theater. The track includes a cacophony of sounds and effects set against an unsettling rhythm track. "Satanic Manic" follows, along with "Brain Matter." The titles almost tell the story themselves. "For 20 Minutes I'm Human" is the penultimate track, the album closing with "Nothing Good Ever Comes From the Coast"--a rather disturbing composition of heavily effected vocals, sound effects, evil piano melodies...climaxing as an old time moviehouse might: an orchestral build that drops, leaving an out of tune player piano, and one of the creepiest female voices I've ever heard.

A concept album to be sure. But even more of an origin story. The harrowing moments aren't here yet. We're simply meeting the character who's going to commit god-knows-what horrific acts in albums yet to come.
