Track listing: Shame

Omaha singer/songwriter EverWill belts the living shit out of his new single, "Shame." A song of penance, directed at society's warmongers and citizens alike. "Shame on us all." There's more to be done beyond just being angry, sad, and feeling hopeless. But there's certainly more to be done.

This single is stark and bare--just a clean acoustic guitar with EverWill (aka William Griffey) pleading his case for his take on the current state of the world's affairs. Are we all complicit? Can we do more? Isn't it all enough just to wake up, pay our bills, and try to make it through to tomorrow, ourselves? Maybe, but actually no, it's not enough.

Regardless of the circumstance and your personal efforts, EverWill's got something to say in this trying time for our country. Democracy's going to Hell in a handbasket, our government is spending tax dollars on genocide instead of our own country's needs for food, healthcare, affordable housing, etc. ad nauseum.

Yes, some of us are victims. Some are accomplices. And some just bystanders...but innocent? EverWill thinks not. Perhaps you'll take listening to his song and watching the "Shame" video and take action! At the very least, give it a listen. It's literally the least you can do.
