Where Do I Begin

Track listing: Where Do I Begin, Living Between the Lines, Hollywood Ending, Cold Murmurs, Platte River

Simply gorgeous. "Living Between the Lines" off the latest record by One Adam One is ethereal, deep, yet also as authentic of an Americana mid-tempo plaintive ballad as it gets. St. Louis based Adam Reichmann teams up with collaborator/producer Todd Schnitzer, creating the project known as One Adam One. What they've made is a lush gem that brings the traditional acoustic sound of Americana into a rich blend with a sometimes-orchestrated backdrop of colorful sound.

By the time you get to the uptempo "Cold Murmurs" you want the album to take the longer road traveled. But then the Van Morrison-esque "Platte River" brings the trip to an end.

Where Do I Begin is reflective. Certainly brings Wilco to mind. Maybe some of the more reflective Counting Crows work, minus the whining. Roy Kaston of KDHX says "These are songs for difficult and hopeful days." Armin Heurich of WVBR calls it a "perfect balance, and has me listening on repeat."
