Having matured as a songwriter and a musician, Johnny Void of the bands Johnny Void and The Others , The Green Goblin Project, and X-Ray Youth evolved musically once again in the year 2001, this time going by Anselmo.

Always one to experiment and push the envelope sonically and musically, Anselmo’s catalogue fits into no single genre. Used as an outlet for all of his musical stylings, Anselmo ranges from indie pop to heavy metal music and anything else that catches his fancy, each with a unique flair and authentic, compelling sound.

Extremely prolific, having released five records and a couple of singles, Anselmo’s most recent full-length album was 2022’s “Did I See You Smile?” though after some intervening singles, he is already set to release a new LP in early 2024, with the first single having already been released, the hit track “Could Have Always Shouted.”
