Salt Lake City based rock band Ex-Okay prepares for the release of The Red Album, a follow-up to 2018's Awkward Silence. Leading up to The Red Album dropping, the record's first single "Angel Below" is being prepped for release on a date to be announced soon.

Awkward Silence garnered nearly 200,000 streams on Spotify and signs from production of The Red Album are that this record builds upon its predecessor and is set to surpass the debut's performance.

The group has been recording at the legendary NRG Studios with Joe Haze holding down production duties, Chris Lord-Alge mixing, and Maor Appelbaum mastering. The lineup is rounded out by Brian Tichy on drums, Adam Smith on bass, and vocals/guitar covered by Tom Anderson.
