J.R. Musician and songwriter, J.R. Taylor, is the Worship Leader at Austin Christian Fellowship in Austin, TX. He writes and performs with Jerry Wise and Amid the Crash and leads worship for events, retreats and camps. From the other side of the microphone, J.R. has engineered for some of the world’s greatest musicians with his company Taylor Audio. He is married to Niki and they have two sons.
Jerry grew up in Texas surrounded by a family of musicians and singers. At the age of 13, his family moved to Nashville, TN where he became even more involved in music. As a singer, Jerry has worked on various studio projects including two Dove nominated children's albums. Jerry got his degree in Music Management at University of Evansville, Indiana and released his first solo album, Grain of Sand in 2004. After spending a few years touring with this record, Jerry returned to his Texas roots and now calls Austin his home. He served as a worship leader at Austin Christian Fellowship where he met and began collaborating with J.R. Taylor. Jerry currently leads worship at Austin Baptist Church.
