2012 is the inaugural year for Viva Big Bend, a music festival and industry conference hosted in the friendly West Texas towns of Alpine and Marfa (with a couple satellite shows in Marathon)
Produced by Texas Music magazine, Viva Big Bend is part music festival and part music-industry conference, which will showcase the best of the state: extraordinary natural beauty, talented people and a diverse culture. Approximately 50 bands will be showcased in ten venues during the 2012 inaugural festival. In addition to the music, events are planned specifically for music-industry representatives.News
