Top 10 of November 2012

Announcing the Top 10 most visited pages on CoyoteMusic.com in November 2012!

Royalty. King D Royalty, that is. This Tallahassee-based rapper found Coyote Music and made the most of working with us. His video for "Swagger" skyrocketed to our #1 spot on the day we posted it, and never looked back.

Our ace intern Laura reviewed Saustex Media's Sample This compilation and it fell out of the top spot due to King D, though not far to a respectable #2. Another new review, Canadian guitarist Frank Roberts' Change of Motion, snuck in at #9.

At #3 we found a Press Release that has the staying power of a Viagra addict. We announced David Cloyd topping eMusic's charts way back in February of 2009, and folks still seem stoked about it.

Two shows appeared in November's chart. At #4 was the 7th Annual Backyard Art fest featuring Black Salve, Purple Stickpin, and T. Tex Edwards, along with many more. And at #6, the Austin all-star-studded line-up at Gram Parson's Hoot Nite drew many, with its line-up that included Patterson Barrett, Brennen Leigh, and Owen Temple.

Two videos also made the countdown, with Stephen Bruton's "Heart of Hearts" at #5 and rapper Cameron Giddings' "Go" at #7, while our own News post, Top 10 of October 2012, appeared at #8. Rounding out our November 2012 Top 10 was the Austin-based dance/rock group, Scorpio Rising, whose boisterous November live shows in San Marcos (Triple Crown) and San Antonio (Nightrocker LIVE) got their road crowds worked into frenzies.

So with turkey eating behind us and a chubby red-suited night stalker yet to be seen, Coyote Music wishes you the happiest of holiday seasons.
