Austin-based electro/dance trio Scorpio Rising announces the release of their third album, Feels Good. The follow-up to their second album, Vain Bastard, which landed them a SXSW showcase upon its issue, will be released at shows on back-to-back nights in San Antonio (Friday, June 27) and Austin (Saturday, June 28). Scorpio Rising has been voted as high as #3 in the Austin Chronicle’s Music Poll in categories ranging from Best Goth/Industrial Act to Best DJ, though their strength lies simply in an energetic live performance that blends rock, electronica, and dance.

Scorpio Rising presents a must-see-to-believe energetic live show with lights and dance moves, fronted by singer/dancer Madame Scorpio, former shadowdancer for Austin funk-rap legends Retarded Elf. Bassist/guitarist, Wonderbred, Retarted Elf's music & concept mastermind, plays instruments onstage and writes/produces all backing synth/percussion tracks. Drummer DJ Bixler, formerly of Austin’s 3 Penny Opera and NYC’s Simple Thing, plays a drum kit customized specially for Scorpio Rising’s blend of electro-meets-live performances.

Feels Good will be available at a reduced price exclusively at these CD Release performances:

1033 Avenue B
